A rare white buffalo calf was born Saturday inside Royal Gore Park, which has just seen wildfires destroy 3,218 acres and 52 commercial structures.
The calf was named Smokey and was seen by some as a positive sign, KDVR.com reported.

The fur will likely turn with time. The thumbnail is not a true white buffalo.

there have been other baby buffalo’s born white, but they change colors when growing up....2 years ago one was born on a farm, but later found several colored hairs on it...not totally white...indian myth....
