Well sounds like you are just starting to see the impact of having libs running everything like in the Peoples Republic of Boulder.
This town preys on students like there is no tomorrow.
My daughter is a grad student in physics up there and she has paid enough stupid fines to get a flower bed on Pearl Street named after her.
For some unknown reason she likes it there however.
So the city is a freaken police state, yet when there is a real crime fogitaboutit. (See JonBonnet Ramsey for example)
FYI, she is not a liberal, she is a Ron/Rand Paul Libertarian.
