My dog's didn't slip off her paws, 'cause they have this "heel" woven in, Power Paws are actual dog socks. The testimonial section of the website showed dogs on carpet. We had non-skid throw rugs, and the socks weren't pulled off by the different textures when Gypsy walked across them.
