Two questions:

1. Is the biblical text responsible for intentionally misuse of exegesis?

No.

2. Is the value of the biblical text dependent on those who intentionally misuse exegesis?

No.

Would I be a decent person if I did not speak out against a future misuse, that of the Bible to justify an attempted wholesale slaughter of people from another world?

To demonstrate logical problem your criticism in another argument, if the Indians were killed with firearms:

1. Is the firearm responsible for the intentional misuse of firearms?

No.

If you know someone has a mindset to misuse a firearm, would you have some slight level of responsibility if you knew that and could educate them to a better mindset and didn't even try?

2. Is the value of firearms eliminated because they were intentionally misused?

Not in the slightest.

(BTW, that was four questions, I counted...)
