Threatening deportation is not the same as threatening harm. She doesn't have the capability to have him deported.

Threatening deportation is not threatening violence, but it is threatening harm. The effect is robably heightened if they were at that moment talking at the top of their voice, using profanities, and repeatedly jabbing their finger in your shoulder.

If somebody did that to me, they'd be facing charges. "Hate crime" would have nothing to do to it. You don't poke me, whether you're being hateful, amorous, enthused, intimidating, convivial, or just plain drunk and stupid.

This woman is a fool, and if she pushes this, it will be made plain to her.
