what is it with chinese tourists?
it is all over the world. They are practically savages with no respect for the local historic artifacts.
It is not the fact they have no money, it is as if they have no education or sense of right from wrong.

If that’s accurate, the tourists probably had very little do with the unfortunate animals’ internal injuries. If it was bleeding from a wound or from the mouth - article doesn’t say - and washed-up onshore, it’s doubtful a vet could have saved it anyway. That’s not a good omen when one beaches itself.

I’m in Rome this very moment. Chinese tourists everywhere.
Cutting in line at the gelato shop. Squeezing between my son and me at the turnstiles at the Vatican. Hogging the sidewalk and forcing everyone to step into the street that is walking the other way. Swinging sun umbrellas that come up to eye level to clear a radius around them while waiting to cross the street.
Absolutely the most unmannered group of people I’ve ever come against. Like a plague of grasshoppers when they mob in somewhere.
