The one and only thing good about the 2011 World Series is that it temporarily erased from my mind the miserable crash in game 3 of the NBA Finals of 2006 when that 13-point lead vanished and the hometown fans booing the Heat suddenly became elated. To this day, a few of us blame Mayor Laura Miller for her weaufing and the audacity of planning a victory parade.

That game was a fix and I knew it the moment it was happening..reminded me of the series when the Lakers played Detroit for the NBA Title, such an obvious fix..Stern knew if we lost Shaq would leave, Phil would leave and the Lakers would not be the Lakers for a long time..you always know the fix is happening when a player can’t even look at the opposing team player without being called for a foul.
