Actually, it’s not just the two hotels. The plan also includes up to 4,000 homes, which seems like a lot for the west end of Galveston Island. The city did pass some kind of wetlands ordinance and there are probably plenty of federal & EPA laws that would pretty much stifle development as well. Has this woman never been to Port Aransas or Corpus?? High rise condos and motels everywhere — and still plenty of birdies.
