I didn’t see any crime scene photos, but I have always thought that she was involved. I thought that the US was not going to extradite her though, because she had been exonerated, and it would be considered double jeopardy under US law. The case was a mess, badly prosecuted after being badly investigated. Enough is enough. We will probably never know the truth.
I suspect that the meeting was to discuss the upcoming re-trial and what, if anything that either one could add to help the defense. No big deal.
