Hollywood Sucks real bad.
Anybody here remember the recent remake of Total Recall?

I didn’t think so.

Agreed. But, I’d still like a less-grainy version of ‘Highlander.’ :)

Whatever happened to “King Lear” with Ahh-nold?

(You know Jurassic Park: The Lost World was reallly bad when it made you wish you were seeing a non-existent film....)

Yep; they should get rid of Riley and Jessie and continue making movies detailing what took place after the first season.

Predator was a brilliant franchise, woefully underutilized. Classic sci-fi antagonist which could be dropped into any scenario with any characters at any budget and create a money-printing action flick. Nothing “great”, but gobs of fun. Pity the premise was used so little.

I liked that show — especially the actress who played Sarah Conner.

Lena Headey. She was very hot. Serious MILF.

I just re-watched the supposed Alien sequel/prequel whatever Prometheus last night.
What a Horrible, Horrible movie.
What were they thinking ?
EVERYTHING about that movie SUCKED Bad.

Not only can Hollywood NOT make decent remake they can’t even make a decent sequel, let alone something original.
Ugh

I saw listed on IMDB.com that a Prometeus 2 is coming out.
You just have got to be kidding me.
With that same woman?
At least her tool boy boyfriend died in part 1.
Who the hell casted that crap movie?
Argh

Almost everything about that movie was so excruciatingly bad, the ridiculous story, the Horrible actors and the Lame-O characters that they played i didn’t even really notice the movies soundtrack.

I re-watched the crappy Star Trek Re-make the other day.
That soundtrack would repel rodents.
Horrible.
What lousy whining music, now it’s stuck in my head.
ugh

Can’t think of anything new so they haul out the oldies and remake them.

Marvel and DC comincs are the R&D division of Hollywood.

And when Broadway can't think of anything new, they turn to Hollywood.

Entertainment dollars are not best spent in a movie theatre or a Broadway theater.

I was shocked they rebooted Spiderman so quickly. But hey people went to see it and it made money so I suppose everyone is happy.

“Now they’re remaking Carrie after they JUST remade it 10 years ago. ENOUGH ALREADY”

Wow.

Many late season episodes of “Bewitched” were remakes of old episodes (now in color and with gay Darrin #2), I heard some were even remade TWICE.

If they are gonna remake everything multiple times why not something that sucked the first time but should have been good? The Star Wars prequels.

Did you hear about that upcoming new show featuring the Headless Horseman and Ichabod Crane brought to modern times? (and the fate of the world is at stake for some reason).

I guess after many decades of movies and tv people are just running out of ideas or getting lazy. Or maybe it’s the public’s fault, I don’t know.

Did you ever see “Videodrome” with James Woods? There’s a movie screaming for a remake!
