Earlier this week, Texas senator Ted Cruz pledged to block State Department nominees until the federal agency filled the vacant inspector general position. Almost two days later, the State Department nominated Steve Linick for the position, which has been vacant for nearly 2,000 days.

Sen. Cruz proves once again that if you stand up to the Liberals, they will collapse. On occasion, the GOPe has forced Obama and the Liberals to back down, but it was usually unintentional.

In the past, the GOPe has put on a "show of resistance." But, before the GOPe could fold, the Liberals collapsed. The GOPe was a bit embarrassed, because they did not mean to win the stand-off...

Makes you wonder where the country would be if the GOPe had any balls. If Jesse Helms and Strom Thurman were still in office, Obama would be sitting in a corner sucking his thumb... and talking about strawberries.

The way things are going now, I think there will be a third party in America soon.

Palin. Cruz. Who else?

I’m not advocating any such thing (yet).

But the GOP is backing the third party, toward making its move.

Soon.

2,000 days. Just short of 5 1/2 years. And one, just ONE, brave Republican made the corrupt bully bastards blink. But, the question now is, how ethical is the new IG? Will he leave no stone unturned in an investigation regarding the very serious charges that have been leveled against State Department employees? Will he compel Hillary to tell the truth for once?

I'm advocating a third (really a second) party.

A conservative, Constitution affirming party is what has been needed for quite some time now to replace the politically petrified "Republican" Party. It's now quite obvious that the leadership of the "Republican" Party does not believe in a constitutional republic based upon the principles outlined in the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights .

The "Republican" Party has and still is betraying it's conservative base -- mocking and laughing at them while doing it. I'm changing my registration this summer to independent. I have refused requests for financial support that come from the "Republican" Party. It's plain to me that the "Republican" Party leadership prefers currying favor with the Democrat media apparatus in America and in being a lapdog/doormat to the Democrats than in representing and implementing the views of its base of supporters, much less in acting as a genuine opposition to Obama and his marxist Democrats. A third party is now the only option for me. Good bye "Republican" Party.

IF ONLY Texas had elected David Dewhurst, we could have avoided this contentious atmosphere. Bob
