start menu problem with xp

Posted on 06/29/2013 4:32:40 PM PDT by freebird5850

No viruses or malware on my retired Dell. We only use it to burn CDs etc. When I hit "start" and then go the programs list all of the little icons have turned purple except for the last program I installed today. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Weird.

That worked! I increased the font size, hit apply and returned them to the original size. Many thanks!
