We now sport a 100yd, 200yd,330yd 400yd and 500yd range down here...Sweet! I wish "down here" was in Southeast Tennessee. I could really use the 200+ yard ranges (though there is a 200 yard range near Cleveland, TN).

People talk about the 22 shortage, but I have not seen any .308 in a dogs age.
That is a real workhorse round, and it is in short supply.

People talk about the 22 shortage, but I have not seen any .308 in a dogs age.It's starting to show up again here and there. I've got quite a bit of 308 at home, plus I've got some brass, 155 gr boattails, a couple of pounds of decent powder, primers, and dies. Although I'm a little green at reloading, I can and will start making a few rounds myself. I've been working up some pistol rounds to gain some good reloading habits, but these rifle rounds are a bit more involved.

I really wanted to check it out this AM
Some guys opened this http://b-tactical.com/ right down the street from Mickey and I think he is improving his range as a response to them horning in on his regular shop.
At any rate we have lots of new shooting down here.
Mickeys range still rocks.
He is the best

Storms hitting us now.
I’ve got my new neighbor/gun buddy’s 2 cats over tonite, as he’s off to the shore and I’m just feeding/watering/playing with them, at his ondo, but they followed me over tonite to get away from the thunder on the west side and have company/bond with them for the week. I miss my cats terribly. After this, I’m going to the shelter and get two, dammit!
