Think about the strong maternal instinct that God has designed to be part of every little girl and eventually every grown woman. It’s the force of life and the continuation of our species. It’s strong!
Now think of what would be strong enough to kill off that force of life, that force of good, that hope for the future. What could be that evil? It’s true when the apostles wrote of people who were so evil that their consciences were seared as if by a hot iron.
