Uh...and I’m not really crazy about LA, either. But THAT level of hatred? I have a hard time believing that people in LA make a hobby of hating San Francisco.
Also often if you run into people whose families have been in San Francisco for generations they will LORD this over you non-stop —it’s like they have NOTHING else at all.

As a general observation, Southern California has managed to “live off of the Northern part of the state for years,” so it’s no wonder we don’t particularly like Mexico City North. And if by Orange Curtain, you mean Orange County, there hasn’t been anything orange there except an occasional Orange Julius stand, a few orange painted houses and a couple of serapes for fifty years!
