OK just touching base with Perry.

I don't think he's still got Presidential ambitions, but if he does he could still made a serious run of it.

If he does, he has to somehow run stronger than last time, but he was one of my favorite candidates. We will see next week, anyway.

I don’t think there is any way he would announce for a presidential bid that early.
It would just make him a target early.

Heck he was the last person to enter the race last time and EVERYBODY pounced on him right away.

Perry is not presidential at all. However, run for governor and then Senate someday. That is much better than his perpetual loser run for President every 4 years. He would be awful for the country but fits perfectly in Texas.

Texas has two Senate Seats. Anything to keep Perry out of the White House is fine with me.

Cornyn I assume. He's up for election next year.

John Cornyn is up in 2014, but really I was thinking that Perry run for Governor a gain and then run for Senate at another time. Although getting rid of Cornyn would not be terrible.

Santorum-Bachmann 2016
Talk about a looooooooooong shot.

Only because nobody has any morals today. This is the perfect ticket to ever run. Unfortunately American has gone so low on principles and morals that these two perfect candidates don’t have a chance. Even FREEPERS on her are very immoral and not principled like they should be.

Perry had a rough run in 2012.

I would Iike for him to be the Chairman of the new NFPC (National Freedom Party Committee) He has the donors and the hooks into everything a chairman needs to do.

Then he should announce the slate of Freedom Party Candidates for 2014 which are going to primary the RINOS and take open Rat seats.

Not sure if I agree with your accusation.

FR includes a lot of people who are unhappy with the way things are in America today.

Including with many “traditional” Republicans.

I feel a lot of the unhappiness with the GOP and the Democrats both, is true and based deeply in patriotism.

A case could be made, that FR represents better morals, to the extent we are attempting to force the GOP to get back to ... patriotism. Both in support for policies, and in economics.

America first.

What I mean by my post is that people sold their principles to the most liberal candidate ever to run for President under the Republican name. Romney! That is tragic that principles go out the window so easily. Sad really.

At present, I’d vote for that ticket.

I get your point, but there is more to that topic than Romney.

A lot of Americans at the moment have conflicting sets of things, they seemingly hold at the same time.

On one hand, they are all for a strong America.

But then on the other hand, they are all for sending American industry to a communist country China. Or another nation.

So our military is now facing declining budgets, and our government is spending ever more to bring along massive numbers of functionally useless people, because their jobs have been sent overseas.

Bring back American jobs. Now.

Implement laws to protect and build American jobs.

We cannot have a strong America, by sending our jobs to China.

Imagine if Perry was President now instead of the disaster now in office.

Sorry I got off-topic there, bringing this back on topic now.

Perry if he were president now, would have America booming.

Like Texas, but much, much bigger.

Perry has what it takes. I hope he runs for President again.

I’ll be rooting first, for Palin. And perhaps Cruz, but Perry would be in my top 3 currently.

I like Perry. I think he would be a good President. I can only think of a couple of people I would like better.
