I don’t think these two cases are similar at all. Richard Jewell was not involved AT ALL. Zimmerman was very involved regardless of how it turns out.

What I was referring to is the fact the media decided that Jewell was guilty and hounded him until it was finally proven he wasn't involved. In Zimmerman's case, they've done the same thing, and you can bet they'll hound him to death, quite probably a literal event.

Yes he was. He noticed the package and tried to get people away. He should have just left the scene at a normal walking pace, then he wouldn't have had any trouble with the law.
