The massage therapist i see is from Johnstown and if for all intents and purposes a yinzer. I spent an enjoyable hour under her ministrations talking about the ethnic foods of my childhood. She makes her own pierogies and halupky, poppyseed and nutrolls. Her brothers, sons and male cousins are heading to their annual week at the family fishing camp up in Tinesta. This may all sound inconsequential to you and very normal but recall that I’m in falls church VA having this conversation and its mind blowing to me. She knows about hunkies and Johnny bulls. Amazing ! She’s going to bring me recipes and I’m going to have Paula over one weekend and we will have a hunky cooking seminar.
I just heard the Zimmerman trial being discussed on Fox-that Martin’s mother was on t6he stand, etc-I’m pretty sure I saw something awhile back about Martin’s mother having sold mementos of “St.” Trayvon-also that his stepmother actually was the custodial mother in his life for a time? And wasn’t he staying with his dad because he’d gotten in some kind of trouble?
Maybe it is just me, but neither of those things sound like a sterling mom who recognizes her son’s voice yelling for help in a garbled, third party call...
WHOOOOOLE lotta revisionist history going on re; Treyvon. I heard his dad was going through and sanitizing facebook, twitter etc. of his thuggish past.
I do hope the defense points out at least some of the revisions, just because they show the dishonesty of the whole premise. It is probably too late for a sanitation crew on the twitter and other social media stuff-I’ll bet more than one souvenir collector has copied them...
