My “favorite” line from news casters is, the storm passed safely out to sea. Well, I was out there and I didn’t feel so safe hearing that.
Exactly. They also call hurricanes at sea “fish storms” because that’s all they think are bothered.
Man, it surely sucks being out there when the waves get big and steep. Fatigue and hypothermia start wearing you down, and there is just fear and dread for days at a time.
It’s not for everybody, that’s for sure. Like being on a roller coaster in a lightning storm for days at a time, and you can’t get off.
