PAMPLONA, Spain – Several thousand thrill-seekers tested their bravery by dashing alongside six fighting bulls through the streets of the northern Spanish city of Pamplona on the first day of the running of the bulls at the annual San Fermin festival on Sunday.

This reminds me of a joke I heard once about this man, in Spain, who comes to a restaurant and finds another fellow feasting on two giant bull testicles. The latter fellow explains to the man all the strengths and benefits of eating the fallen bull’s balls, and recommends to him to reserve a pair from the next bull match. So, our man does so.
The next day the man comes to the restaurant and they offer him the expected dish, except that the balls are very very small compared to what the other fellow had the last time. He asks what happened, and the waiter replies: ‘The bull won, Senor.”
