I had webtv when it first came out back in the late 90’s. When you singed up they said part of the deal was future upgrades. The upgrades didn't happen. They came out with a newer version in I thin 1999 promising upgrades with it, but they never came. The concept was great, but like anything of that nature if you don't improve it people will lose interest.

I had webtv and they did have upgrades. Quite a few of them. They then came out with WebTV plus that had more features and it too had upgrades.

I used WebTV for 9 years and it was great for surfing the web, fAr cheaper than a computer. WebTV was $250 back when computers were $2000+.
