Every time I read a story like this, I’m reminded that I had a great uncle who (in the 1920s) was so fat that he fell through the floor of an outhouse and died in the septic tank (true story).
How sad!
Of course, it could not be true, though, because all the health nazis say that there were no fat people before the onset of fast food restaurants and “big food” pushing us to eat. And the health nazis are always right. Just ask them.
When we lived in East Africa, every 6 months or so there would be a story in the newspapers of a "choo" (latrine) falling through and dumping some unfortunate soul to a "fate worst than death". If he didn't have true friends who would pull him out, his fate often WAS death.
