So on another thread I brought up the point that one of the reason abortion is so pervasive is because it "outsources" the deed of infanticide to a "professional fetal hitman" known as an abortion doctor.
We all know the story of Solomon, where the two ladies laid claim to the same toddler and Solomon said that he would cut the baby in half and give one half to each lady and only the true mother would say "Don't do that, give it to the other lady". Solomon wasn't actually going to cleave the baby in half, but he knew the choice to obviously kill the child would evoke a stronger response from the ture mother. He made the alternative so unappealing that the truth about the situation would become self evident!
How does this resolve with abortion?
Well using the idea of solomon, maybe the best way to stop abortion would be to do the unthinkable.
Legalize Infanticide!
However, make abortion itself Illegal! And Ingfanticide would only be legal if only done by the mother and if only done within a certain time period after the baby is born!
Also the form of the infanticide would have to be the mother physically taking both hands and wrapping them around the baby's throat and squeezing and remaining squeezing for a couple minutes after the baby has stopped moving.
Of course before the mother puts her hands around the baby's throat she could give the child up for adoption and would be encouraged to do so.
The number of abortions would actually decline dramaitically if this was fully implemented because the truth of the act of abortion would very much soon become self evident in everyone's mind, much like the identity of the mother in story of King Solomon!
Only the truly despicable evil women would actually go through with strangling their children and they would have to face the creator later on for that sin and they couldn't try pin it on the abortion doctor either when they came up for judgement.
The Rats would never go for it because their strategy is to make women believe the “blob of tissue” lie.

Aw, heck. That'd take all the fun out of it for leftist extremists, who richly, truly, deeply enjoy the thought of small, helpless babies writhing in unheard pain, but don't actually have to sully their eyes by looking at dying babies.

Well, nearly everyone at Planned Parenthood endorses partial birth abortion. Nancy Pelosi, Feinstein, Obama. The Now Gang. The majority of our Democrat Senators and Congressmen. To them, abortion is simply a “woman's choice” no matter how old the unborn child is or if the child survives the abortion. They say with one voice, “kill it”.
I agree with you that abortion outsources infanticide. It makes it easier to have a professional hit man knock off your child instead of you having to do it yourself. However, as deep and dark as the American conscience is getting, I am afraid that there would still be many women who would come to justify the act of infanticide. It would become the new ok thing to do, just because it is legal. There are already people such as Peter Singer, Philosopher and Bioethicist from Princeton who advocates being allowed to "abort" ones child up to a month after birth, and I believe beyond.
To quote our most brilliant political thinker, “What difference does it make” whose baby it is?
