I am a lunch lady and unfortunately have to serve this horrible food. I blame the schools for having become so dependent on the government that they don’t know how or don’t want to get off the merry go round. At my school we serve about 400 kids. Less than 20% receive free/reduced lunches. I have told my supervisor that if the school would just absorb those kids, they could serve what ever they want and would easily make up the difference in new and added revenue. They just don’t get it. The government gives these hand outs so they feel obligated to take it.

I’m sure 100% of the kids would appreciate it if the school took your advice. Maybe you could get the parents involved.
