If you thought intimidation, threat and demonization were bad before, you have no idea what is about to come down on anyone working for those Amendments and goals, not to mention what the Feds will bring down on the State legislatures. The IRS scandal will end up being mild in comparison.

Considering the inevitability of conflict being foisted upon this people, a last ditch effort is better attempted than none at all. What makes anyone think that even if you pass new constitutional amendment that the federal government would obey them?
The only solution I can think of is nullification. The states created the federal government therefore the states have the ultimate authority for determining whether federal laws are constitutional.
If two people have a contract it is unreasonable to assume that only one of the people in the contract has the sole authority to interpret the contract.
I am not going to poo poo this effort but I do not think just because there is a new amendment that it will change the current relationship of federal government to the states or its people.
