I really love that at our community swimming pool, the flag is raised and the anthem is played at noon every day, and everyone stands and salutes/covers her heart/is silent. I’ve never seen anyone be disrespectful, even children, though I know not everyone is conservative.
I wonder how many more years it will happen, til some atheist/queer/commie member moves in and complains that his “civil rights” are being violated.
That’s a great community you have there.
