The fugacious prosecution of George Zimmerman crashed and burned yesterday during the state's closing arguements. Today MOM, Mark O'Mara, gives his closing. I expect a world of difference.

Too bad I won't be here to hear it. I will be gone for the day. You are on your own, kiddoes.

A++ I have been fascinated by the trial. Yesterday, the prosecutor made a HUGE fool of himself.

I use Fugly as an adjective for weather....

‘...its Fugly out’...’what a fugly day’

Hot and Sticky, pretty much equals Fugly.

G’mornin’. Fugacious: I wish that were the case with O, but he lingers like a foul odor.

Oh what a night: I went to a Japanese brothel and treated myself to a fugacious, but as I recall, it ended much too soon.

It is astounding how the prosecution has twisted everything, even the facts. Sadly I have no hope for Zimmerman - it is a florida jury....

Yes the weather was great. A couple sprinkles but nothing bad till yesterday afternoon.

Are you staying at the same place on Ameila Island?

We’d definitely do Va Beach again.

yes the conference is always at the ritz carlton. not a bad gig ; ) xshub and xsboy will be working some of the time. xsteen’s bf is going to join us for next weekend, so it will be nice to have him along.
glad you liked Va beach. I have never stayed there, we would often go for the day when the kids were little and we were in Williamsburg for the week. It is a nice beach. Did you like it better than NJ [where do you normally go?] xsteen’s bf’s family has a house at Ocean City NJ and it is apparently a very nice beach, not like the nasty OC, MD.

Va was more upscale and diverse. But its all the same stuff. In Wildwood all the shops are right on the boardwalk. In Va Beach all the hotels are on the boardwalk and its more serene along the boardwalk. But on the street side its the same shops and restaurants.

Wildwood was a lot of traditional family owned motels where this was tall ritzier hotels.

Off for the day-all the work I had was to spend a couple hours doing an estimate for some texture work-

It seems that our legal system
Has lost any rules that it had-
From congress to Florida trials
The whole thing has run mad

Congress rules like the Red Queen
And lawyers become more pugnacious-
In this version of Alice’s wonderland
Sparks of common sense are fugacious

Someone put on big boy pants,
And assume a responsible role-
There just aren’t any magic pills
To get them out of the rabbit hole...

I was amazed when I saw a part of the prosecution’s closing arguments on the news-the lawyer apparently yelled at the jury for most of his time-and his voice and attitude seemed really annoying, too...

Haven’t see even a minute of the trial, can’t stomach the idea of it. I’m
pessimistic about life these days so i would be shocked if he is acquitted.

I quit paying much attention to it awhile ago, except to hear about what transpired that day on the news-when I heard the recap of the yelling, though, it got my attention-I couldn’t believe the rudeness.

I don’t think for one minute that Zimmerman intended to kill anybody, for any reason-but I do think that neither of those young men were employing common sense at all that night-just running on adrenalin and whatever else goes through your mind in a dark place on a rainy night-and Martin may have been stoned, which likely altered his perception, as well. I also think the politicians and the LE people in Sanford need to shut up-they just make things worse and cloud the issue...
