You wrote “(Hersman) talked so slow and in a demeaning manner.”

That’s a characteristic of democrat speaker training provided by Burson-Marsteller public relations firm. Hillary uses it too. (So does Diane Sawyer.) Another Burson characteristic is gesturing with a loose fist when speaking. Visualize wagging your finger at someone but loosely tucking your index finger back. Burson tells their speaker trainees that wagging a straight index finger is stern, and creating a tight closed fist is threatening, so they created this lame gesture. Watch Jay Carney for this. He’s the king of the loose fist. A-holes all!

I take it as arrogant and demeaning. And these are the same people that mock slow talking Texans.

Democrat speaker training. Does that company also train how to count on one hand by starting with your thumb?

Back when Pauline Frederick was the only woman in TV news, studies showed that viewers preferred authoritative delivery. This, along with societal factors kept women off the air and out of exec jobs. Along with Title IX and Equal Rights Amendment frenzy in the 70s came workshops and college offerings on women’s public speaking. Low and slow.

Interesting to learn of a corporate source of such training, or perhaps The Source.
