Some of my ancestors were Ulster Irish who located in Antrim County. I thought the Ulster Irish were relocated from the Scottish low borderlands with England. That would make them likely closer to the English in DNA wouldn’t it?

Probably. A mix of Celtic, Pictish, Anglo-Saxon, Viking, Roman, and Pre-Celtish settlers.

Yes, but the Scots (ancient Scotti) were originally an Irish tribe that migrated to what is now Scotland in the 7th-9th centuries, overunning and eventually assimilating the existing Pictish culture.
