Imagine all the waste, if people with no intentions of really learning anything, didn't have to pay for it. One big free party.

You mean just like high school? That is why entering freshmen have to take all those remedial courses. I guess we could offer the remedial courses when you go for your masters or doctorate now, (assuming students will have to pay for those.)

Public education coasts between $10-$11+K a year per student. Imagine if parents were responsible for paying the full load of their kids. I’m sure a lot more kids would be doing a lot better in school.
