Killing a child is horrid, but if its black on black the media doesn’t care, or if its black on white they don’t care, but anyone not black kills one of them its riot time. I don’t understand that mentality...it has to be taught by parents or the streets. God bless that poor child.

I refuse to go into the city. We used to go once every couple years to the Science and industry or Field museums, Lincoln Park zoo, or just to walk around downtown a bit. Have no desire to do so anymore. Would just be too stressful as I wouldn’t feel safe, also do not want to give them any of my money.

Mama, they did the shooting on purpose, they just didn't (probably) mean to hit your daughter. The shooting wasn't an accident.
If you read the article, perp 1 started shooting when he spotted perps 2 and 3, who then returned fire.
IOW, this was a gunfight, not a driveby. Legal carry would probably have done little to prevent this particular situation, and adding additional shooters just might have made the situation worse.
