The top two House Republicans condemned remarks from Rep. Steve King on young undocumented immigrants comments that threatened to eclipse the House GOPs efforts to overhaul the nations immigration laws.
Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said in a statement late Tuesday that comments from King, an Iowa Republican, likening so-called DREAMers to drug mules was wrong. Kings remarks came from an interview conducted last week but circulated widely on Tuesday.
There can be honest disagreements about policy without using hateful language, Boehner said in his statement. Everyone needs to remember that.

Boehner’s not alone. Congressman Raul Labrador of Idaho called Congressman King’s comments “reprehensible.”

Sen Lee also said "look, we all agree that immigration needs to be reformed, step by step. This is a distraction to be making personal attacks that make most people feel uncomfortable, including me".
SE Cupp agreed with Sen Lee's comments about Rep. Steve King's comment.
It’s amazing how far most of the GOP establishment has capitulated to the politically correct Left when it comes to immigration, culture, race, and ethnicity. Hacks like Boehner often go out of their way to pounce on principled hold-outs like King even faster than the Democrats.
