The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son George Alexander Louis.

The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.

I had always thought that the name Alexander was of Russian origin and royalty. At least that is what my mother told me as to my middle name.

This was a no-brainer ...

It was gonna be George or Mary - depending on gender. Named for Great Great Grandparents.

George VI, Queen Mary, Elizabeth, and Margaret did not desert the British Isles during WWII. In doing so, they endeared themselves to their British subjects.

The people remember, and by naming the baby George [Mary if it was a girl], the royal family just bought a lot of good will with the people ...

I see the queen as a moral woman that keeps the rest of the party royals in check. Once she passes...the royal family will swing dramatically to the left.
