My point is and has been for a long time that I sense that some seem to derive some perverse pleasure from talking about and writing the details of the incident 40 years ago, details that everyone already knows well and doesn’t need to be reminded. It is a malady well known to psychologists, even as it is predictably denied by the sufferers. Some like to talk about the gory details of traffic accidents. It’s the same thing.
