If the company providing the service can rely on the homeowners to have adequate liability insurance then they probably would not have to insist.

Those “real people” are probably the reason we’ve had major lawsuit reform here-it started with workers comp, and then went to other areas, including medical malpractice. Homeowner liability limits are rather small-not enough to attract a serious con artist-and it is a good thing...
