J.J. Cale Death Hoax Dismissed Since Singer Is ‘Alive And Well’.
On Friday (July 26) the singer’s reps officially confirmed that J.J. Cale is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said.
Some fans have expressed anger at the fake report saying it was reckless, distressing and hurtful to fans of the much loved singer. Others say this shows his extreme popularity across the globe.
Supposedly he died at Scripps Hospital in La Jolla. And it was announced on Cale’s Facebook page [which I saw]

That would be a pretty elaborate hoax since I got an email from his agency, The Rosebud Agency.
