This is the first problem I have had with any IPad.
On the App Store logo, when Apps need updating, there will be notice on the upper right corner of the App Store button indicating the number of App needing updating.
I have an indicator of 5 Apps needing updating, but when I press the App button and go to the upgrade page, nothing shows to be updated.
Help! Many Thanks.
I will not buy products from apple, microsoft, google (android). They have shown themselves to be hostile to my privacy and my right to self defense. A perpetual pox be upon them.
Usually a reboot will work. Turn off iPad then turn back on.
There is something wrong with the app server.
Just click Update All.
I’m having the same problem. I’ve reset and it didn’t help. Must be on Apple’s end.
Are you opening up the icon that has the little number in the corner? Just reboot.
Just went and looked at my wife’s iPad. She had 14 updates. They are all updating fine.
Possible cause:
Those update Apps may need an OS upgrade first. This happens to me on occasion.
yeah right....good luck posting on the internet
nah just hold down the button on the top right corner for at least 5 full seconds so you actually turn the device off. when you restart the device it should be a-ok
Go to the “Purchased” tab right next to the non functioning updates tab.
Then look for the apps that say “Update” and proceed updating one at a time.
I have no clue why this just started happening.

Restart the iPad.
While you’re holding the iPad, press and HOLD the “start” button at the top right of the iPad. A red messages will ask if you want to Power Off. Slide the red slider.
Wait and re-start by pressing the same start button at top right.
You need to take your iPad to an Apple exorcist.
sounds like a phony scandal to me.....
If you have a first generation iPad, Apple stopped upgrading the OS for the original hardware. If you don’t have the current OS, the app upgrades won’t load.
Same thing happening to my iPad mini. Not sure why, haven’t found the solution yet. No OS to upgrade...just no apps show on the upgrade page.
That’s always the first thing I do when something goes wonky with the iPad and that’s what I mean by reset. Still not pulling up updates.
Could be apps from a family member you put on through share. Login in to the App Store with their username/password and update.

Posting on the internet does not constitute a purchase by me of the aforementioned products from their manufacturers.
Meanwhile, more and more servers are being powered by Linux.
