I forgot how crappy 90s jeans looked.

Maybe I'm showing my age, but those late 70s early 80s designer jeans were the bomb. Even girls that weren't exactly svelte looked hot in them.

Hope THAT trend comes back some day. High-waisted and form-fitting.

Wish I could find a vintage pair that my wife would model for me.

I don’t think staying up was an issue.

The Levi’s Shrink-to-Fit 501s were the best.

They’d fit a bit funny the first two or three wears but as you wore and washed them they’d fit like they were made for you.

That was long before Levis started to suck.

They probably just decayed off of his legs with all the exudations of speed, whiskey and Marlboro reds, and he just never bothered to get new jeans.

Freegards

Yeah I remember getting those hard as a board Levi's in the 70s. It would take many washings, but eventually they conformed to your body and were soft as butter.

Anyone remember Toughskins?

My mom refused to buy them. Thankfully. They looked stupid with the elastic waistband.

One of my earliest memories was where a kid was wearing Toughskin shorts and he pooped himself on the playground.

At least the shorts were brown, too.

The Wrangler’s from Target fit me the best and they are only about $20.00 and last for a while.

The trend I hated the most was the fake “faded” look of jeans.

Those just looked really stupid.

And yeah, I haven’t bought Levi’s in years because they are run by a bunch of libs, unlike the original Levi company.

I remember also wearing an everyday jean called Sedgefield boot cut. Nice comfortable attractive. I think they were guy jeans.

I didn't know that but I did a quick search. This photo appears to come from a video source.

Not particulalrly...my wife absolutely HATES the low “hip huggers” designed by gays that are seemingly the only thing available these days for women. She very much prefers the high-waisted jeans of the 1990s but can’t find them anywhere.

They're not 'high waisted', they fit at the 'natural waist, but Glorida Vanderbilt "Amanda" jeans fit very nicely. I cannot STAND low waisted pants, and I love the "Amanda" style. I know Belk sells them online, as does Kohl's. Kohl's also sell them in their stores.
