Legally, the dog owner loses. If the dog was an inch off the owner’s property, it can be killed by anyone at will. And even if a dog is killed *on* its owner’s property, the most recovery is about $300. Don’t even think veterinary bills if the dog is just wounded.
I worry someone will trip over my Golden. She would beg you to death.
If they were using your bathroom, no one would have noticed and one wouldn't have been shot.
I really recoil at her attitude. She doesn’t want to clean her own back yard of dog droppings so she releases her dog into the neighborhood to use the neighborhood as its toilet so others can clean up after her dog or step in it.
“Christophe said her neighbor should have been arrested for discharging a firearm within the city limits. But Chief DeNardo said the exception to that rule is when you’re protecting your property, family, or defending yourself.”
Once he got his family safe he should have called the cops and let them shoot it.
What an irresponsible pet owner-people don’t have fenced yards there? We have fences here, and it is in a rural area-unleashed dog fine here is 500 bucks, too...
You are the reason your dog got shot, Yoda.
What a vicious bitch!
I bet the dog needed shooting also.
Ronnie Vanny Junior, better hope that dog doesnt recover because they do hold grudges.
just admitted breaking the law, endangering her own pet, and others.
pitbulls running by themselves towards me while i was outside in my yard would get shot.
it is clear’you are an owner that cares for the safety of your animals.
that said if cops are chasing someone in your neighborhood and they come barging over your backyard fence they will still most likely shoot your dogs.
Yolanda Christophe will be the next Pitbull owner “surprised and shocked” when her Pitbull kills somebody. Because, gee, her kids have “been around this dog since she was born.”
