Mark Wahlberg plays every military hero. Next he’ll play Audie Murphy ,Carlos Hathcock, and Chris Kyle all in the same movie. Only movie I thought he was really good in was The Fighter. Christian Bale was even better.

Wahlberg should be a good pick to portray Kyle, they both have somewhat of a hard to describe quirkiness about them. lol

More to do with the times we live in than their character.

It would be hard to find someone to play Audie Murphy. That essence of manhood is extinct. The closest anyone has come in recent memory to accurately portraying the attitudes of those times was Tom Hanks, and he did extensive research and talked to many surviving WWII Vets. Sadly, they're disappearing daily.

Would really love to see a movie based on Hathcock's service, if done right!
