SurPlusComputers was really good in the beginning, back when they first were bought out and renamed from Software-N'-Stuff, but they rapidly declined and after about three years simply folded. If you truly know what you are doing and need a good source for 'older' hardware, weirdstuff dot com is a good choice. Being from the area, I know of at least one more great source for computer stuff but they do not have an online presence. Another is good for general electronics and some transceiver gear, but the prices are only on the OK side and everything gets sent by postoffice.
I seriously can not think of any other business that came close to what geeks was offering in their range and prices -and this sudden shutting down is not sitting well with others besides Myself. Honestly, mates! Would a bit more warning be truly that much to ask? I was thinking about some of the offerings just this morning, and now just like that not even a 'closeout' last-ditch effort?
