No Fun League?

I think the rationale for this ban is that excessive celebrations hurt the feelings of the other team - and might goad them to retaliate in violent fashion. If so, it's stupid - these players work their asses off to get the ball across the goal line - let them celebrate and show us their human side. Let them show us that they truly love to succeed at this sport. Goodell needs to recuse his silver-spoon, white a$$ from making this decision and appoint some real football players to set the ground rules for celebrations.

No the rationale is that excessive celebration takes time and is boring for everybody not the jackass dancing around in the end zone. Get on with the game.
