My daughter and her boyfriend recommended the movie.
LOL, good idea. It’s the law here in NY state to have your headlights on when you have your wipers on. Lots of idiots ignore it. Cops are more interested in anyone with a phone than no lights.
A+++ I had to leave Buffy most of the day....NO accidents. That’s a first.
Ok, where's the thermos...

It’s in the book closet on the top shelf where it always has been. Just remember, you empty it you refill it.
Thank you!
Glad to hear there were no messes-for weeks when Husky girl was a puppy, I closed my eyes when I came in from work, expecting either a mess on the floor, or a throw pillow relieved of its stuffing. That stage didn’t last long, fortunately...
Tim Conway, wasn't it?

I don’t make a point in getting out of the way of someone without their lights on in the rain but if I see someone obviously talking on the phone, hands-free or not-I slow down to let them get way ahead of me-rain and lights don’t interfere with attention quite like listening and responding to a remote conversation...
And no, I don’t talk on the phone and drive-my phone stays in the case, in my purse until I arrive at a destination...
Exactly. And try to pull onto a busy road in the rain and you see why its the law.
My point is that the cars could be wired/ programmed to do this.
My headlights turn on when the engine starts.
Those are your running lights. When you turn your lights on the rear red lights come on for those behind you to see you.
Yes DRLs are for safety. I am frankly surprised that they are not mandatory. They do increase visibility but are not as bright as the headlights.
Sorry. Those are my headlights. They are fully automatic. I never have to touch them. They are on when the engine is on — just like a motorcycle. Occasionally my husband turns them fully off, and then I have to find the switch and turn them on again. Same deal with the windshield wipers. They sense the rain and start up, then turn off when the windshield is dry. Both of my cars are full-sized Cadillacs.
Interesting. I have automatic lights but they are based on a light sensor.
Of course if i just leave the switch in the on position the car will turn them off after i turn the car off. Not like the old days where you would run the battery down.
I just recently used frozen bread dough to make pizza - sometimes we use hoagie rolls split in half...so far I haven’t found any stores here that sell fresh pizza dough. Sams sells theirs by the case but I don’t want a case of frozen pizza dough. I have a bread maker that can make dough but I’m always trying something different.
My favorite was Pillsbury’s Hot Roll Mix....until they changed the recipe for it. Now I just use refrigerator dough, although my SIL gave me a great recipe for pizza dough I intend to try.
Dave is right about the frozen bread dough.....I set it on the counter for a few hours - before it begins to rise but is thawed and it works very well.
Or overnight in the fridge.
I’ve only done homemade pizza when I had a kid at home-I used to buy the dough mix and toppings at Sun Harvest natural market-the dough mix was pretty good-it smelled great in the oven, too. My daughter would always ask me to stop at Sun Harvest on the way from work on Fridays and get pizza makings...
I’m frustrated by the heat and humidity-it is keeping my compadre and I from installing a new front gate to “pretty up” the property for sale-it is too hot to be using a chop saw and doing spot welding-not that I’d be the one using the chop saw-I’ve seen guys nearly lose fingers cutting metal-I’m scared s***less of those saws from hell...
I treated myself to a turkey, cheese and veggie on rye from the deli 4 miles down the road-I will not be hungry until tomorrow...
How long to thaw to the right state?
