Well, fancy that. Go figure. If I had a garden like hubby, I would use that weed fabric too, but my little gardens have stuff so close together I get almost no weeds, and the texture is such that you can just pull them out by the roots easy peasey.

My husband is very excited about putting in a raised garden this fall for next spring. He’s got it all planned out - and bragging at me already about how many hundreds of pounds of everything he will grow and won’t have to pull a weed. :)

That’s fine.

I’ll stick to my plan of regular old gardening. I get satisfaction from it, and weeds. I’m kind of old fashioned that way. It’s not very predictable, but I sure remember the lessons, and enjoy my attempt to be a “real”, LOL, gardener. That’s why I didn’t use weed block before, I felt a little like I was cheating. Now I am sold on the stuff.

It’s not a fabric,it’s a roll of brown organic paper, and will melt away into the ground in winter.
