Have you seen this one? Essentially, Howard Hawks took his "Only Angels Have Wings" story and replaced South American mail pilots with NASCAR race drivers.

My racing movie shelf is pretty well stocked. I’ve seen Red Line 7K. I’ve been a racer for what seems like 1000 years and I have a little (just a little) knowledge on the subject of film.

But any reminders of the best racing films (and Red Line 7K is certainly one!) are welcome!

I’ll stick to my points. Grand Prix and Le Mans are the best. No Contest. Rush could be a contender. All others didn’t make weight.
