It’s all “fun and games” until you reach the “grow it out past your ears” stage.

I’ve been growing mine out for three years from a severe pixie cut (Who says older women look good in short hair?! dang idgits.) And now it’s just slightly past shoulder length.

Never again.

Buy either MSM caps or the hair vitamin formula from GNC.

Boy do I hear THAT! Congrats on getting that length. I understand what it took for you to get there.

Yeah I left that "older woman look good in short hair" behind me too and it has made me look ten to fifteen years (if not more) younger (I also keep fit and keep my weight down by eating very healthy. I say this as I think it really helps).

In fact the other day I showed a picture of myself to my girlfriends that didn't know me way back when :). The picture was taken 11 years ago. I heard them take in a breath. I said, "Yeah I know I look a lot younger there." They in unison said, "No. You actually look a lot younger now." I was shocked. We himmed and haaed a bit about what it was and the oldest in the crowd said, "It's your hair."

Also I have seen some beautiful pictures of women in their seventies and older with long gray hair and honestly I think it is lovely. I think it is whatever it is that makes us feel feminine is what we should do as it exudes out of us :).
