Isn’t ammonium nitrate a vital fertilizer?? Something about putting nitrogen back in the soil ...

The most common fertilizer for agriculture.

Cheap effective.

This does not apply to just ammonia nitrate but to all “hazardous” chemicals. This would include not just fertilizers but also pesticides.

Massive overstatement. We regulate a lot of stuff at the federal level that doesn't come close to banning.

West, Texas demonstrated current policies/regulations are not cutting it. I work in one of the more regulated and monitored industries; this is far from a ban.
