Hi all, hopefully someone has the answer to my question. I am having trouble at home listening to talk radio via Iheart radio. I have a laptop with a Windows 7 Home version OS and everytime I click on the Iheart icon, the hourglass spins as if its about to load then it freezes on my screen and I have to power down from the on/off switch.
Is Iheart radio compatible to Windows 7?
Thank you in advance:-)

did you see if it happens with google chrome instead of internet explorer?
I just had a similar problem with Internet Explorer on windows 8 - my Netflix goes to 99% and hangs (completely)
Google chrome plays the same movie just fine
I hate Microsoft lately
No software is truly compatible with any version of Windoze.. There are just those programs that crash less.
I listen to Rush on Firefox every day with no problem.
Get the ‘Tunein’ app. It works much better for me than iheart. I play it on a Kindle Fire 8.9” HD.
I use a standalone program called Radiosure. It doesn’t connect to all radio stations in its list, but I primarily listen to WMAL AM, as it has Rush at noon and Mark Levin at 5 ET.
RadioSure FTW on PC and TuneIn Radio on Android
I’m running Iheart on a Win 7 machine with no trouble.
I use Iheart on firefox on windows 7 with no problems.
I too have problems with the iheart app on my iPhone. Works fine on my ipad.
I second the TuneIn app... worth getting the paid version. iHeart doesn’t do a thing for me.
I had problems with streaming radio stations on my computers. Now I just access them through apps on my Samsung Galaxy Tab. They work great and I can take it with me.
Are you logged on?
Are you running the latest IE? All my problems went away when I upgraded to IE 10.
That's all I got, I rarely use windoze on my laptop because it is vista and a pig (but I repeat myself). Linux and Firefox most of the time, it plays all the media just fine (except Netflix which is married to Silverlight).
I use Iheart on my Android devices, Iheart carries the Mark Levin 24/7 feed and it works better than the "official" Airkast app.
TuneIn has more "live" stations overall I think, but hasn't carried the Mark Levin feed lately, so I use both.
