How could you have forgotten his last name??? LOL
It is inexplicable to me what my brain remembers and what it doesn’t. I am told that I do not get enough REM sleep, and that interfers with the transfer of short term memory to the long term memory.
I don’t understand though why the parts remembered are stuff I would rather forget, and stuff I would like to remember is as lost as a dianmond ring flushed down the storm drain and out to sea.
Still you would think that the name Bastardi would have stuck somehow or other.LOL. A memory expert on Dr. Oz, says that your brain tends to forget the ordinary and remember the unusual. Under that theory, I would think that the name Bastardi would have stuck somewhere, but Nooooooooo. I remembered the name Joe.
Is there a more ordinary name than Joe? LOL It is a mystery. Also a frustration, because I used to be able to remember almost everything without half trying.
