The consultant advised surgery immediately to remove it. Prostate cancer can be ignored, they are not advising him to do that though. His brother has stage 4 prostate cancer, too late. DH is the 4th in his immediate family to get this same cancer.

In early stages it is very treatable. Is he just resigning to it?

God watch over you folks ... my brother still shows PSA’s over 4 since a “complete” prostate removal nearly five years ago. He’s back on limited chemo — though why with the same Dr, I don’t know.
